Michael Fertitta

Michael is a Managing Director at JDH Capital, where he leads the Real Estate and the Royalty & Minerals strategies. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining JDH Capital, Michael was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Hilcorp Energy Company and Harvest Midstream Company. Previously, he worked in the Energy Group at Och-Ziff Capital Management in New York and practiced law in the Energy & Natural Resources Group at Kelly, Hart & Hallman LLP in Fort Worth, Texas.

Michael received a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Texas Children’s Hospital.
