Matt Scholin

Matt is the Chief Financial Officer of JDH Capital, where he is responsible for the financial management of the firm and all its investments. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining JDH Capital, Matt was the Vice President of Finance at Hilcorp Energy Company, a Houston-based upstream oil and gas company, where he led the Treasury, Investor Relations, Risk, Banking, and Corporate Finance functions. Prior to joining Hilcorp, Matt worked at J.P. Morgan in its corporate energy group.

Matt received a B.S. in Economics from Texas Christian University and an M.B.A. from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He currently serves on the Foundation Boards of Goodwill Houston and Casa de Esperanza.
